My niece is coming to live with me, and I’m designing her bedroom. She loves old and antique things. Anything before the sixties, she finds extremely cool. What sort of things could be used to style her room?
Also, if there are any small accessory-type things, such as a suitcase or something, that would be helpful as well. Oh, she also said something about a white iron bed?

I’m fourteen and I also love vintage items. I have found that mixing items from different places really gives a bedroom that “vintage” feel. Going to a thrift store or antique store is very helpful when looking for those unique pieces. I have signs from the 50’s in my room that are really cool and add a lot of character. Also, a half-mannequin is great if your niece is into fashion. I pin cool fabrics onto it and it looks very vintage. As for the white cast iron bed, Pottery Barn Teen has a great solid bed. It has an optional canopy as well. It comes in white, pewter and bronze. Good luck!
